The Queen of Swords represents those personalities born between August 23 and September 22, the earth sign of Virgo.  Ruled by Virgo, her key phrase is I Analyze, and she is the Perfectionist of the zodiac.  Virgos represents a very practical side of womanhood.  As well as being analytical, they are also discerning, quick to figure things out, mechanically inclined, and process-oriented.  They are usually dominant in relationships and conservative in nature.  This personality type generally wants the last word and can be argumentative.  Virgos are eager, hardworking, dedicated to service, easy to talk to, but sometimes hard to please.  They are definitely high maintenance and fastidious in appearance.

The issue for Virgos is that the world is not perfect.  They will look for all the flaws in life and most certainly find them!  Suffering from the Princess-and-the-Pea Syndrome, they are very sensitive to what is not exactly right and strive to make the correction.  Their best qualities are analysis, logic, and attention to detail.  Their worst qualities are that they can be critical, petty or cynical.

If the Queen of Swords should appear in a spread, she represents a woman with a Virgonian-type personality.  If the card is reversed, it represents a man with the same personality type.
